A very nice fancy restaurant for a fancy experience, i would not say it was expensive because i do not see that it was expensive according to the vibe it gives, in my opinion this restaurant offers high quality food, service and atmosphere, but it is not a restaurant where you go to get yourself full of sea food, i do not drink alcohol but i think it is a good place to have food with alcohol (for taste) but of course if you are looking for a sea food restaurant where you want to have as much food as you want with lower prices this won’t be the best option. I loved every single dish that i have tried there, so tasty and well made😋

I came across Calipso whilst in Istanbul with my wife. We were looking for something different to eat and Calipso did not disappoint! Right from the start, the service was second to none, politeness, patience and just so welcoming! Mr Uĝur and his staff made me and my wife feel so comfortable! They assisted us in picking our main meal (moon fish), which was well cooked and so tender. They recommended a few starters/ appetisers and the salad, all of which was scrumptious and fresh! The deserts were absolutely delicious 😋!!! We'd definitely come back for more!

Came for an anniversary on our first visit to Istanbul. The service was outstanding, every waiter spoke some english and the one taking care of us spoke great english. Food was great and plentiful. More on the pricey side, but for the experience it was worth it. Big recommendation

Service was perfect especially Mr Ercan was very friendly and caring with our table. - food was also amazing - my favorite was balikkofte -which was absolutely mouthwatering! The only negative thing was smoking - but they also have non smoking area to sit. Food is delicious but this restaurant has to serve much better bread as they have Michelin BibGourmand award- it was ordinary. But all in all, we highly recommend this restaurant even if the prices are a bit high

While vacationing in Istanbul, I had the pleasure of dining at a quaint restaurant tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle. The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the sea bass. It tasted as if it had been caught just moments before it reached my plate—impeccably fresh and seasoned to perfection. The delicate flavors of the fish were both rich and subtle, transporting me to the very waters from which it hailed. This dining experience not only satisfied my palate but also encapsulated the essence of Istanbul's culinary magic. Highly recommended!

Nice fish restaurant that has a Bib Gourmand. Had couple of starters which were all nice. In general the prices are quite high from my point of view. As it has a Bib Gourmand I was expecting lower prices and I as well had similar food for lower prices in Istanbul. However food is great and service is really good. Even got a dessert and tea on the house at the end. Worth a visit if you don’t worry about spending some money.

Wow what an experience! I sampled the whole menu in small portions and Ugur accommodated me incredibly even though I was a single guest. You can see very quickly why they are a Michelin star restaurant with TOP TIER service! Wow again! Keep it up! Ugur made the experience that much more incredible with a tour of the menu.

We've located this restaurant for its Michelin bib gourmand recognition firstly. The restaurant is clean, VERY welcoming, passionate to showcase all the food options they have and guide us how to select the mezze platter. I am so happy to choose this place to try the Turkish mezze platter for the first time. We are here for the birthday and anniversary celebration and see what they have done for us on the table set up. It is lovely and definitely bring love in the air for us. The FOOD is Simply magical! The octopus is amazing! Calamari is super fresh just like the it just came out of the water to our table, the shrimp is huge and YUM, PERIOD! We will definitely come back again! Try it out :)
